Sign in with your purchaser account or the account invited as an IT administrator.
Who can manage licenses?
Your AEC Nexus account is your sign-in. Administrator access is a permission added to that account.
- Company owner / purchaser: The account that buys the company licenses. Can invite IT administrators, manage users, assign or reassign seats, and buy more licenses.
- IT administrator: Can invite employees and assign or reassign company seats. Only the owner / purchaser can grant administrator rights or remove an IT administrator. An invited IT administrator cannot appoint more administrators.
- Employee: Uses the rendering access assigned or shared by the company; cannot manage other users.
No rendering seat is required just to administer licenses. Administrators who want to render also need an assigned Enterprise seat or access to an available Floating seat.
Credits stay with the company license. Reassigning an Enterprise seat keeps its remaining credits and removes the previous user's access to that seat. Floating credits remain in the company pool.
How the owner adds an IT administrator
- After purchasing seats, go to Invite a colleague below.
- Enter their AEC Nexus account email and select IT administrator under Role.
- Click Create invitation link and share the link with them.
- They sign in and accept. If their email needs confirmation, the owner approves them under Confirm colleagues.
These permissions apply to the selected company and product. Invited admins can use Manage invited company to open the company they administer.
